About Leo King
The man who builds wealth for families wrote the book on building the man.
Manhood by Design is a book and workbook system by Leo King that helps men replace drift with design — building discipline, purpose, fatherhood, and character through a practical, secular, values-based blueprint.

The arc
Twenty years of watching builders and drifters.
Leo King didn’t start in finance. He started behind a chair — a licensed barber educator, teaching grown men a craft one deliberate rep at a time. Two decades of entrepreneurship later, the classroom changed but the lesson didn’t: today he’s a real estate and wealth advisor at Power-House in Atlanta, helping families turn income into assets and assets into options. Thousands of kitchen-table conversations about money — which means thousands of conversations that were never really about money.
The pattern was impossible to unsee. Two men, same income, same city, same starting line. Ten years later one owns his time and the other owes his. The spreadsheets never explained it. The design did: one man had written standards, a plan he could execute on a bad week, and daily reps that didn’t consult his mood. The other had intentions. Both were good men. Only one was building.
He started writing the difference down for clients — one page, then ten, then a system: the audit, the blueprint, the reps. Manhood by Design is that system in book form. Not a memoir, not a sermon. Working drawings, from a man who reads ledgers for a living and knows that character shows up in them first.
“I’ve sat with too many men at sixty doing the math on a life they never chose. The book exists so you can do that math at thirty-five — while the answer can still change.”
